LEARN HOW TO PEEL AND DEVIN THE CASSAVA

Cut both ends of cassava. Being a hard root, it is best to use a large and strong knife

Cut the unpeeled cassava into pieces of about 10 centimeters, this will make it easier to peel it later.

To peel the cassava, place the previously cut pieces vertically on a board and use the same knife to discard the pieces of skin. Another option is to use a potato peeler. It is important to remove both the brown skin and the next layer of skin, which is lilac and white inside.

This consists of eliminating the central fiber of the tuber, which is too hard for consumption. To do this, cut the peeled pieces of cassava in four, and with the knife cut the central fiber of all the pieces.

With the cut, peeled and deveined cassava, wash under running water.
